Known for her “captivating stage presence” and
“excellent sense of comic timing”
Courtney Miller is a versatile performer. Opera News aptly praised Courtney’s “fluent musicality,” for her portrayal of Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with Opera Saratoga. Parterre Box lauded her recent debut in Cosi fan tutti with Livermore Valley Opera: “Despina, mezzo-soprano Courtney Miller used every bit of vocal and physical wizardry to make the character’s two dress-up scenes, as the Doctor and the Notary, laugh-out-loud centerpieces of the opera. She was dramatically a delight throughout.”
An award-winning recitalist and passionate advocate for new music, Courtney is known for curating programs that tell compelling stories, highlighting works by female and queer composers. “Tell me the truth about love” and her new children’s show “How’s it bee?” are available to tour.
